yup it's been long since i last blog... haha
Firstly happy bday twin... really do hope that u have enjoyed urself to the fullest today and happy moon gazing ....
oh yes joyce is confirm coming over in nov....... with an expensive ticket... wa!! it gives mi a little pressure that she HAD to make this trip worthwhile.... gonna plan what she would be doing over here.....
ok.. shall talk about my last few days...
i went over to sydney with sw, joan and peijun....it was fun...i felt as if i am back in singapore
the shopping mall in sydney resembles those in singapore, with food court, small booths/push carts like those in bugis. it is rare to see melb with these shopping malls...
their chinatown is really big... and there were a lot of asian... i bet most of them are malaysian and singaporean... then there is dragon dance.. We were quite amazed when we saw a dark skin caucasian behind the dragon head... and wat i love most about sydney is that their shops doesnt close that early like in melb.. cool.. more lively at night!
feeling fat for the past few days ... been eating and eating... the food in sydney is really good especially the fish market....awww... the seafood is very fresh!!!! and we ate sashimi too...
hm.... the shopping was ok... i only manage to buy a pair of jeans (which i had eyed on it since i was in mel, jus that the shop in melb central doesnt have my size) and a bikini.... well i got the bikini at a sale price.... so it was quite worthwhile....
when my friends and i were there... we were discussing whether do we regret studying in mel instead of sydney.... i guessed if i have the second choice, i would still choose melb... though it is more laid back, at least i feel more in aus experiencing another kind of life.. sydney is more city like.... another thing... sydney ppl are damn rude !!!! on our first day, 2 caucasian stared at me when i was in the shopping mall..... in addition, the chinese there were also very rude.. there was once we wanted to find seats..... then we asked her whether is the seat (which is opposite her is taken).... and she gave us attitude and replied us in a super rude manner... kaoz.. disgusting !
